FYI, I created a new account last week and had the same problem using Firefox as my web browser. When I retried the registration with Internet Explorer, it worked.

Don't know if u got this working or not but i had a similiar problem when I tried to upgrade my account it asked for the same info inc cc info which I already had on file . Couldn't figure out why it was asking for info all over again. Doubled checked website to see if I could figure it out, finally the problem was when I entered game code I did not realize it was case sensitive and required all the dashes. In other words try entering the code EXACTLY like it is on box.

Okay I think I've figured out what the problem is. I can't get my 30 days free until I use either a credit card or game card first. As incredibly stupid as this is. The main reason I bought the game was I thought I would get to play for 30 day without worrying about any of that. Getting a game card in my town will probably ne nearly imposible in this town because we only get WOW cards. I may be able to asked them to order in some UO cards for me but that'll take weeks so, thanks for you help but it looks like I won't be playing for a while yet

Use a credit card, or buy game time from the store. The credit card option allows you to play for 30 days for free, you can then cancel your subscription if you foolishly decide you don't like UO. When you start, go to either Europa, Sonoma, Chessy or Atlantic. Your more likely to get help off the Forum people that way.

I have this problem quite a bit when i try to register a new account. I've got a quick fix for you, just for future reference.

Create your screen name and password. Then call 1-866-543-5435 choose option 1 for account support and then 1 again for registration issuesand tell them you are having trouble registering your account. They will ask you to verify your screen name and your registration code. Then they will apply that code to your account and you are done.

Quick and easy no cc or gametime needed!!
