I am so stupid

Yesterday I went to buy another house. So I went and talked to this guy about the house. My wife was there so I went to get the gold which was at my house. Well we had another house in front of the one I jsut recalled to, kind of kaddy corner. My wife seen my name in back of the house she was in. We just realized that the house we were trying to buy was a house we had owned. we some how forgot to activate that account and the house had fallen. This is a 18 x 18 house which had a whole lot of stuff in it including rares, my whole bod collection and god only knows what else. We both felt like we were going to puke right there when we realized what had happened. Guess thats what happens when u have to many accounts and houses.
I know these are just pixels on a screen but like my bod collection was what I had collected over a couple of years. We also had a massive collection of the vanq, mystic weps we collected during the brit invasion. So this was things we really worked for and now I am so depressed about this. I couldnt even play UO yesterday
Sorry I just had to rant and rave about this and tell someone how stupid I am
Also hoping maybe some atlantic person will have been there and possibly have got some of that loot and feel sorry for us and sell us back some of our stuff cheap

now that is the pits ... and really am sorry that it happened

but it isnt stupid its just that time flies by to dang fast!!

we started a spreadsheet, to keep track of XX (to many) accts
and it has saved us a lot of grief.

yeah I need to do something like that I suppose.
I do have a sheet I write sll my accounts on and sure enough it showed I would have to activate it before now. Gets me though I go to my house in front of that one all the time and never seen anybody around the house in front. I was told alot of people were camping it and I could swear I have went in there the past week and should have seen it was condemned . Just completely at a lost how that happened

That has got to suck big time. Sorry man. I remember you talking about your multiple accounts/activating to refresh houses... I wondered how you kept up with them. I hardly play anymore but I can't imagine the sinking feeling of losing a house.

One question though. Just why were you lookinng at buying another house????

although ive never lost anything on this scale.. i have on a few occasions forgotten to lock down bags filled with things like, banner deeds, flaming heads, potted plants, my vet dye tubs, a few arties, some PS's.. I know the sinking feeling your talking about, although I am sure your's is worst than anything i have experienced

. Just try to remember that the feeling goes away with time. eventually you will fell better

Just try to remember that the feeling goes away with time. eventually you will fell better I've never figured out how to be gracefully humble without appearing weak. Nor have I figured out how to be gracefully passionate without appearing arrogant. In the end, I always seem to be arrogant and weak instead of humbly passionate.
