I am really desperate, can't patch

I had this problem a while back ago. Remeber I changed my sound card. Well I have tried everything again and nothing. Its a new sound card so surely it couldnt be that? I havent played UO in like 5 days. I am dumfounded and have no clue what to do. PLease if anyone knows anything please let me know something

Did you get the big patch on Monday (publish 44)?

Im terrible about this techie stuff with puters but I wonder if the publish threw your system off (blocking ports/protector)

What OS are you running Kevin? Did you try the usual solutions about turning off your firewall and anti virus?

If you are running Vista, You HAVE to run it as an administrator. It took me 3 weeks to figure this out!! Right click the icon and click run as administrator.

If you've made any changes to the UO files, it tends to prevent the patcher from working. As a last resort, you can always try reinstalling UO, be sure to save your macros first, otherwise you're in for a lot of work when you get back up.

After talking with 2 techs, I finally had to reinstall 9th Anniversary to be able to patch to 6.0.1.1. My folder in EA GAMES was actually Samurai Empire, so out with the old and in with the newer version. No issues saving the whole desktop file from Samurai Empire and replacing the new one. Patching didn't take too long and was fortunately back in game before UO withdrawals hit.

Well Wtf lol I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling UO like 10x and still get an error during the patch this exactly:

Error during session
Your client may not be the most recent version.
You may be able to play the game with your current client.
Check http:\www.uo.com for help on resolving patching issues.
Click OK to play the game or Cancel to abort.

and I go to uo.com and it says click here if these options do not work and it then says the page cannot be displayed any ideas? I am on XP pro just reinstalled and UO will not patch for me at all any info would be greatly appreciated.

That is the same thing that happened to me. I still cant install. I have done everything here everyone has suggested. Plus more and still no go. I am just very frustrated right now. I have no clue what to do now

Oh I am using XP. My wife has the same exact thing and she has no problems. I have the luck of a dead irishman
