I'd like to thank all those that contributed gold to me. However every site I have searched for this game is out of date. I have had people run up to me and give me gold. I appreciate that and thank them.

But for a new player, I need more instruction than gold.

Coming from an extensive Eq and WOW background I am not happy with the lack of help that I recieved from this game.

I do wish all the kind people well.

Its a shame to see someone go, you must have been unlucky with getting help I say this because when I first played on Atlantic I was amazed at how helpful some players were to me, giving me good advice ,weapons and armor,I hope you change your mind and give it another try

What, exactly, did you want to know? I know when I first started the game, I was ready to quit after about an hour. Finally I found someone who was nice enough to help and give me some advice. I just had no clue as what to do at first tho either.

You know, I joined back when AOS came about, yah I know. I am an AOS newb. blah blah blah.. Well me and my best friend played for 6 months and were bored as hell. We didnt know where to go or what to build up, I had like 15 skills started on my paladin not knowing what to do. (thank god for soulstones later, to flush those worthless skills like camping! hehe). Well I deployed to the mideast, and quit for 6 months. My friend while I was gone found stratics (not the negative forum part) but the helpful skills and character info). He also bought a strategy guide at the store, and we were ready to hit it full speed. Since then, We started a guild to help people in our same shoes. If you want some help, try starting up a character on Baja, and my alliance would be more than happy to help you get started and suited up! Dont give up, I didnt, and now I am one of the worst PVP players in Fel! But I love every second of it! hehe.. Atleast I have a better understanding of this game now. While it's true a lot of the site's need quite a bit of updating, the knowledge of the user base itself is great . You should give it a solid try and give folks some time to answer, especially thru one of the busiest holiday seasons!
UO has been around for over 8 years now, your NOT going to learn it in a day, a week or a month. The game has a tremendous amount of depth and diversity.

If your still reading this forum, come on back and give the players a chance to show you what this game is really about

I think he actually left that day. Funny thing.. his welcome message is still getting 'Welcome Bronik" sent to it... and this one is having offers of help. He just wasn't interested in playing. He was interested in telling us how we aren't fun.
