Looking for some recommended hunting areas where I can make decent money. With the prices these days I really need to find some way to generate good cash and don't really want to work a crafter yet.

My character as it stands is at about 92 magery, GM meditation, 90ish Eval Int, so I can cast EV's with decent regularity and am working on Spellweaving and a couple other skills which I haven't really decided on 100% (see other thread). Stats are 125 Int 20 Dex and 95 Str and I'll probably drop 5 dex for str.

I was down in Deceit doing Liches the other night but there has to be better as the cash wasn't really that great.

PS I've also got myself a 100% LRC suit now (actually twice now, long story lol) so that helps, although my resists suck so far but I'm working on that part.

What merth said. Good gold and loot at swoops. And you get the occasional mini arti drop.

every time I go there it's warriors and/or tamers taking them out. How do you work it with a pure mage? I'm guessing EV's?

I only use dexxers and a tamer. But yeah, I've seen mages use EVs, and fire spells.

Oh and make sure you have positive karma before you go in there. Or you'll have those pixies on you as soon as you go in.

LOL, when I'm bored I take my Dread Lady in there for some fun. The toughest thing is getting past the initial wave of pixies. I precast an EV, run through the gate, cast, run back, lather rinse and repeat. Once you're through the first part, it really isn't all that difficult to keep up. Don't run out of mana though, or your life will be very short indeed.

King tony has a good point. With some experience under you belt, in luring and making safe areas, you could do Miasma with EV's. Same loot and gold as swoops, more inherent danger (I often do swoops when I have insomnia, it always puts me to sleep), and you can get paragon lvl 6 chests from them.
