Tram is populated with housing outside both Luna and Umbra.

Felucca is much better. No Homeowner Association Dues. If you dislike your neighbors, you just kill them till they move.

Plus, since Fel is the only place where you can be kept in, it makes sure you can always go home.

Yes, house is the way to go, i dont know if it has been fixed but there was a time even though u had ur boat locked things could be stolen off of it, yes even in tram. I know i had a lot of things taken. I would start off in Tram i would hate everytime i wanted to go home i had to worry about being ganked.

I don't think that fel is as bad as some people think. I live on the west side of ice isle in fel and i always see people (mostly reds) running around killing spawn, hanging out with friends, and just coming and going from home and i never get ganked (all of my chars but 1 are blue). most people that I see even chit chat with me and i am usually outside my house for the chatting. there is one person that shall remain nameless that kills (or tries to) everyone that he sees, but as long as you have a decent design where all you have to do is recall in and step up 1 square past your steps to be safely inside your house you should be fine. (put a tele on the first tile inside your house that links to one in a safe, enclosed part of your house)

if you are going to be collecting resources on your own instead of buying them I would definitely go with fel. just go do the bag of sending quest a few times and when you get a considerable amount of whatever resource you are collecting send it to your bank. if you don't have the cash to keep your items insured i'd spend some time making some more money before venturing around just in case. while you are doing solens for bags of sending, gather all the gold and gems from them as well. those gems pile up pretty fast and can make you a decent amount of gold.

before you place, try to find one of us with the UO:F tag. A good place to look for us is the twisted weald, or Umbra at the UO:F cross roads. To get there, go to umbra gate, go out the north west entrance, then head south. You will cross a road. We own 4 houses just below that. That is the UO Crossroads.
