How to resign from a faction?

How do i resign from a the Brit faction? I signed up a few days ago, but id like to leave the faction now. I read on stratics that after u resign at the faction stone, that u have to wait 7 days. But i cant even do the first step, when i click on the faction stone nothings happens. Anyone knows how to solve this?

You cannot resign prior to a full week with the faction. If i remember correctly, the sign up stone is located outside the faction at one location, and the main stone itself for voting, resignation, etc, is located inside hq.

Calell is right. I had the same problem with trying to resign from that faction. I kept going to the sign-up stone outside the castle in Britain. To resign, you have to go into the castle, then go to the throne room. The stone is there (it's on the right, I think). Click it, and you'll open a box with several choices. One of the choices is quit (or resign) the faction. After you've clicked it, you'll get a message saying you'll be out of the faction in X days. It used to be 7, but they're supposed to change it to 3. Don't know if they've changed it already.

That was part of publish 52. So, I believe it has been changed.
