as you can probably tell, im sort of new to ultima and i dont have much experience.
so far i have gotten by on the money i gained from escorting npc's but as i get stronger, my needs grow bigger, how do i make money?!
no particular class is involved but magery techniques qould be awesome as my char is gmed magery

Try to take your magery higher with a powerscroll, a minimum of 110 magery is recommended. Then cast Energy Vortexes on creatures such as Dragons in Dungeon Destard, Ogre Lords in Dungeon Despise, and Swoops in Twisted Weald.

The UO Stratics Atlas will get you started with the geography of Sosaria.

Make a warrior and get yourself a suit of Darkwood Armor. Once you skills get to about 80 in each either:

1) Get yourself a Radiant Scimitar (is this the 100% fire one?), a Bag of Sending and head over to the Ice Fiends in Fel.

2) Get yourself a Exiler and head over to the Demons in Fire Dungeon Fel.

You'll rake in over 100k an hour just standing there, gathering gold, and sending it to your bank. Very occasionally you may be killed. But you'll only be loosing insurance money for so many hundreds of gp you'll be making.
