Re: How do you pronounce...

Well Baja is Spanish. So it is pronounced Ba-ha. Ba-jah reminds me of people calling La Jolla La Jall-uh, rather than the appropriate, La Hoy-uh.

Re: How do you pronounce...

How about Daemons? I know some people still call them by their previous spellings, and the new ones. I still say daemons (day-men)as apposed to demons. I get laughed at alot in Vent though, because being from Chicago, I have a different accent than the rest of the guys in my guild, and say stuff quite differently....

Re: How do you pronounce...

That "ae" is an old greek holdover if Im not mistaken.

I believe that youre supposed to pronounce both sounds, like "day-e-men" but not give the "e" its own syllable.

But I just say demon

Re: How do you pronounce...

Demon/Daemon

I always said day-men when they were daemons, but apparently both versions are pronounced dee-men.

Also according to the dictionary, daimon (die-mone) is the Greek origin, not daemon.
