how to change language of the game?

Hi,

i downloaded UOML from the uo.com ftp site, but it seems the text ingame appears in two languages : french (im from france) and english.
Some texts are in french and some are in english.

Can I play with all text in english?
Is there an option somewhere, that Ive missed?

You knon i have tried that stuff and i have played in this game forever and ill tell you i still cant figure that stuff out, if it is even working ect...
allthough i shure wish it was better so we can communicate with other players that are just not english... Maybe KR Will have a better Universal Communcator....

yes, the systran is a translator

But im not talking about the chat messages.
Im talking about the game text. Objects name and descriptions, menus, etc...

For now, its a mix of french and english, its not good. How do I set the language of the game?

well Ive had a search around for info to help you,but so far this is all I have found.I will ask a few friends over ICQ when they logg in later today and post back any info they give me

I found it !

here it is :
If you'd rather play UO in English than in your native language, you may set UO to use English in your uo.cfg files. Please close UO before editing these files, or your changes may not be saved.

Add the following line to your uo.cfg files; be sure to change the one in your main UO directory, and the one found in each character's Ultima Online\Desktop folder for which you prefer to use English language:

UserLanguageCodeString=ENU

Once you have added that line to the uo.cfg file, be sure to Save the file before closing it.

Here are some other common language codes you can use:

DEU (German)
ESP (Spanish)
FRA (French)
CHT (Chinese)
CHS (Non-Traditional Chinese)
JPN (Japanese)
KOR (Korean)
