I used to read UHall and occasionally post, but I don't think I've made a single post there since I joined UOForums.

Even before I actually joined here this place looked much friendlier, and it seemed really strange that people here weren't constantly posting 'UO sucks' or arguing over everything (stratics is the only other forum I've been to).

I agree completely, and thats why I don't even read stratics anymore- this place is so much better.

And lol this sounds like an advert for UOForums

I've read some of the posts there and after the first few, I stopped.

The only time I go there is to look on my shards forums. Alot of guild fighting gets discussed there. I think theres very few Baja people on UOforums, or else I would talk on our Baja forum. Either way, this site has an awesome environment!

Reason why I dont post there

That is another reason I was sending out a "gratitude' message in here. I posted over there for around 3 months, and it's either totally disheartening or irritating to read so many of them. I have found a few places in the forum there that aren't totally negative, but for the most part, there seem to be an oversupply of two year olds who can use computers well enough to post things on forums. Actually, that may be an insult to two year olds.

i think you're right snowy...i work with 2 yr olds..and they'd be insulted i think.

well, I love the atmosphere here much more, but I do go there a ton for a couple reasons - read the Devs postings via the drop down menu; check out the Lake Superior forum, and lastly, it's sorta a deeply ingrained habit which I hope to break one day

Te only time I ever went to UHall was when I was working overnights to keep myself awake as there was pretty much constant posting throughout the wee hours of the morn.

I still try to drop in the Tech forum now and again to see if I can help people out with my allbeit meager knowledge of making UO run as smooth as possible.
