How about this frustrating event

Last night I went to complete the moving of my main character with an xfer token.
Low and behold I get this message

We are unable to transfer characters that have volunteer powers.

This toon hasnt been a volunteer in years (This is a 9yr 11mth account)

Im assuming they never removed the flag so I send a petition to the gm.

They said unfortunately I would need to be jailed , Im like ' WHAT!!'
So my best archer is currently jailed , although they did let me move some of his stuff over to another toon.

The GM said he would escalate this to a higher power to see if it could be fixed , if not the toon is permajailed.

This char is 5x 120 GM , 117 Archery . This is one of my best chars , I was mad. And even worse the token isnt in my backpack cept for the server selection choice at the top of the screen.

I say boo, on two counts:

Boo to EA for giving you that crappy answer. Fortunately, I imagine you can elevate this and at least get your character recreated with enough nagging in Jeremy's direction.

Boo to still having volunteer powers and not knowing it! Think of the miraculous feats you could have been performing all these years! Water in to wine! Milk into Sake! Dross into Gold!

I'd imagine they got scared that you might have "super powers" since they dont even remember what the volunteer program was

Hopefully it will get sorted and let you play again!

I heard back from EA today and they said it was being worked on but might take a little bit.
They prob cant figure how to remove the flag.
I also emailed Jeremy.

Actually I delt with two gms last night. One to jail me and the other to take my 2nd toon out of the macro house so i could trade my stuff.

I still remember when character name changes first started, you had to be jailed then select the new name. You had to deguild as well. For me, this wasn't a big deal. I just don't understand that if your character cannot transfer, why can't they give back the token and let him/her on his merry way on the same shard? Why be permajailed? That's the only part that baffles me.
