Horse drawn carriages and chariots...Too much to ask?

Why do they not have carriages or chariots for us to purchase or craft in game?
That would be sweet.
You would need several skills to actually make one.
Tinkering for the axles and gears and fasteners.
Smithy for the hardware- rims, armor reinforcement plates.
Tailor for the seats and reigns. Not sure if i spelled that right.

Plus, it would look cool as hell.

There are many theories about who invented the first chariot... the only thing those theories have in common is that chariots were invented long before the Roman empire by hundreds of years, maybe a thousand or much longer. Carts were also common in the medieval periods, and other cultures around the world.

The Romans invented a lot of things... but wheeled travel isn't one of them.

Yeah I always wondered how a game designer could allow things like ore carts into the game with out allow the players to use them.
I would hope after 10 years of living in the medeivile times, we as a socity have been smart enough in progress to using the wheel.

I think that if we are smart enough to conjuer purple whirlwinds, we could muster the intelligence to rig a horse to a cart. But that's just me.
