It is spend so many time to download the UOKR patch file by UOAutopatch

I hope the offical can release the patch file to ftp server

I wish they would allow FTP too, but to the best of my knowledge the only way is to use the UOAutopatch. You cannot download the updates directly because they are not stand alone executables.


It sucks when you have to install it on several computers and redownload the same files 3-5x times.

If you have to install on more than one PC could you copy the updated folder onto a usb disk then from there onto the other PC's?

Yeah, but I guess I just don't know what to copy from the game files. The patch folder is empty of course on a successful update, so I could check the date on all the files and see which ones have changed, but....... could be risky.

Only way I can think of doing it, is someone would have to patch up their entire UO Directory after each patch and upload to a website for others to download.

But, you'd have to get permission first.

And throwing entire game installs around would not save someone on download time. :-)

Possibly if you were doing it over a local network only, still I rather just run the download on my 3 different computers. Now IF the installs were standalone executables, that would be another story.
