Honorable Swords

I has a question!

I have a set of Honorable swords I managed to snag at an IDOC and I was curious if they have a significant gold value attached to them. I saw a set on a vendor which was selling for 295k. It was the same item except the name differs ("Honorable Swords Of "insert name here").

Edit: I should clarify, anything above 60k qualifies as a significant amount of gold for me.

It really just depends on if it's one someone needs to complete their collection, etc. I believe there are also a couple of the 'rarer' sword set names...You might ask in the rares/collectibles forum.

It real does depend on the name of the swords and if it is one of the "rare" names it could bring quite some gold to the right collector. It also depends on your shard, were there many people participating in the Treasure of Tokuno Events? This is where these items were generated from. So if there were tons of them floating around, then the price on your shard my be lower compared to other shards. For example I have seen sword sets on Lake Superior going for around 400-500k, if I every come across a pair for 295k like your case I would be buying because to me it seems low. I will try to find the complete list of the names, I know I had it somewhere, because I had completed a set of both swords and urns at one point.

I think the gold value is only so high because maybe those can still be turned in for a Tokuno Major even though the event is over?

Someone else maybe confirm this? I wasn't around for that event.

probably...if the trade guy is still in tokuno then I'd guess yes. I don't remember ToTII turn-in ever being turned off. that is another reason some people will charge a few hundred k...it takes 10 to get a major which then can sell for a few mil.

the imperial trade minister, has never been turned off.

you are still able to trade 10 minors for a major, the only thing on him that has changed, is the dye colors. The original colors were removed and replaced.
