Holiday turn in

My friend gave me his tower and with it came a whole bunch of the holidays items that he said i can turn in (i asked to make sure he didn't want them back). I am not a rares collecter, how do tell if any of these things for keepers. They is like 100 snow globes, 20 snowman, candles, hand bells, etc....bunch of val and christmas cards. Is any of this stuff worth keeping?? If so which ones and how can I tell? Anything white mean rare right?

Re: Holiday turn in

In general, all of that stuff is less desireable.

There were 4 holiday bag/bell combos that were very rare (luna white, blood red, black, and ice blue), and there may be a snowglobe or two worth saving. However, most of that stuff is fodder for turn-in.

Ask in the Rares forum and someone can probably give you a better answer.

Re: Holiday turn in

of the snowglobes there are some extremely rare [therefore desireable] ones, offhand the one for Blackthorne's Castle comes to mind, they go at auction for like 100k+...the snowman there is a rare, bells too, sorry I'm at work can't think offhand what they are but by no means should you just pitch the whole lot for the pittance they will offer at turn-in. Get some help sorting them out first:]

Re: Holiday turn in

The white bells would be far rarer than other ones, but before ya turn them in also look at the names on the bells. Some are highly prized by some folks if they are names of dev. or ea people that are gone. . ie a Sunsword item or Wilki etc. etc. may be a name upon said bells or other items can be worth it's weight in gold via players whom treasure said *names* on the items too.

As for snowglobes, the original ones thus the oldest are the snowglobes bearing city names old school cities, originally that set held some 19 or so snowglobes encompassing Brit, Minoc, Delucia, Mag, Nujel, Bucs Den, Skara, Papua etc. and these were never made again..orig set some 19 cities..and oldest. Another old set would be the original shrines Chaos was one of the rarest of them Chaos, then the 8 virtues shrines set those be 2000 or so when given. The rest are from later years ie the Ilshener snowglobe ones and beyond.

There used to be entire lists of snowglobes on an old sight called *Honey's rares* and the orig 29 and then the 9 shrine ones being the oldest of all. Blackthorns castle one of the newers, Chaos from the shrine ones, even some of those cities some folks got way less than a dozen minocs, for example in snowglobes.

Anyways before ya turn in any thing into the turn in...be sure to LOOK first, some things be worth more to some folks than any new yucca tree plant or whatevers they giving us NOW.
