Hi Guys.. A few Questions

Hi
I'm an older gamer. just turned 60..I've done most of the regular mmorpg games..WOW, DOAC, etc. same old grind.....Game daily said in their review that UO is almost impossible for a newbie to learn but the idea of a game with some mature players and different mechanics really interest me...

I was in a good guild in World Of Warcraft but to me after the first 20 levels or so its the same old grind.. i'm doing the UO trial now and i'm lost but i'm enjoying myself....lost my fiance to a brain anuerisim in july and i need something immersive....any advice on the game appreciated....i'm thinking of buying the 8th age,

Hmm, now I have no idea what to say heh
Er, I guess I should ask, what kind of character are you playing right now? Tamer? Warrior?
What are your skills you're using?
Which bits are you not sure of, etc?

UO is a very complex game, especially compared to how it used to be, which is a shame
But, it is learnable, just takes abit of patience.

You'll find some good, knowledgeable people here, so please ask any question you might consider silly, I promise people won't laugh at yas (Or they get slapped

)

Ahhh
I love the paladin class myself, it's great for monster bashing.
Do you enjoy playing that type? What's your skills at right now?

Hi

Right now i have 182 kill points..55 for chivelry, then 36 for focus, 10 for meditation....thats all i can remember right now.....Don't they increase by how much you use them?

You will find many people here willing to help in any way possible. Please let us know what shard you play on. If you are on Catskills, I'd be happy to meet up with you ingame and provide you will supplies such as armor, runebooks and weapons. Myself and my guildmates would be happy to help you with training up your skills also
