 | Hey guys I'm new to UO... Just ordered the game from ebay, should be arriving in the next week. I've been an Ultima fan since I was about ten (1990), I've played and finished Ultimas IV, V, VI, VII Parts I and II, and Ultima Underworld I. I know I'm about ten years late on getting into this game (I'm kicking myself for leaving it so long), however I'm hoping I can still get something out of it. Because I live in Australia, I'm assuming the best shard for me would be Oceania, although I'm worried it's nearly deserted nowadays. Is there anyone who posts here that plays Oceania?? |

 | Re: Hey guys I'm new to UO... Welcome to UO, hopefully you enjoy as much as the Ultima series. It can be a little overwhelming, but there are tons of guides on this site that can help you out. I believe I've seen posts from a couple people here that play Oceania, so hopefully they'll respond. Welcome, and good luck!  |

Thanks man, I've been reading a lot of the guides and I'm hoping the fact that I already know the (classic) lay of Britannia and a fair bit of the lore will help my experience a bit. I'm hoping to create a Shamino-style ranger, the classic hunter/spends days in the wilds sort of guy... |

I am in the midwest US but have some late insomnia nights that worked well for another player playing LS shard from Australia. Let me know if you are interested!   |
