Hmm, although I do appreciate having numerous pretty tokens from which I can get just about anything now, wasn't that just a really lazy thing to do?

I mean think of all the people that bought the sets for them, the value of heritage items is gonna crash now, so consider all those people who bought them before.

I do wish they came up with something else for the 10th... but ah well I guess, just feel alot of people may be quite annoyed

I think it's pretty poor to have 2 heritage tokens for the 10th anniversary, not to mention a 10th anniversary wand that ONLY works in UOKR

Ya, I hear ya'll... I surely would have thought maybe a 10Year Soul stone or something realy unique to mark the ocassion...

I guess I can try for a complete set of Virtue armor, it does look to be a good set, but you need all pieces... and I guess its going to wear out because you can't use PoFs on them....

As in UO tradition make something we only dare wear in town... something we may never take out of the bank, except on Holidays.... Just a deco... or maybe I could sell the set for cash maybe?

I like the items you can get from the tokens but they have flooded the market place with them now which is a pity, rarther than bring something a little bit more unique to the realm.

Ah well, at least we can make use of what they have given us...maybe make a forest of blossom trees

Honestly I like the heritage tokens as a "gift", theres some items I didn't want to buy and it was getting tiring switching the item(s) between characters.

I must agree though, holiday/gift items have been given out in a flood for some time now. 6th anny items (a bag of stuff), holiday items (a bag of stuff), valentines (a bag of stuff).

I really hate throwing items away but the excessive flood of pixel crack is way too much. The Gift boxes though are really neat (I've liked those since the first christmas they were given out).

Perhaps something like say

1 gift box per account or 1 item per character

would help players enjoy the gift items and not be overwhelmed with a ton of items we call "Junk".
4 items per character, with 6 characters on an account is 24 items.
Multiple that by 4 accounts. Thats 96 Items. Wow


As for the stuff about the fireworks wand working only with KR.. Reminds me of the first 3d client. Only difference is I don't crash as much in KR as I did the original 3d client. Though I have a hard time moving in KR.

They have heard the cry and moans of the shiny,arti, trinket, collector for years and thats all they know most of the player base as. Which they are....

Forget better game play, just give us stuff to horde. The EM's coudlnt do a decent job because people just showed up for the next cool item to collect. Yeah, then when something like this happens they blame uo gods for that as well and the crys go out for new stuff not stuff that will flood the market and lower cost!

No! Heaven forbid you make it easier for the common uo'er to have some nice things. I mean really what do you expect? People whined that uo was outdated and boom KR hits and the cries of alarm can be heard galaxies away.

I think people should justy stfu and play the damn game or go play wow or some other eye candy and leave UO for the people that want to have fun and who dont worry about a friggin token.

The firework wand DOES work in 2D, perhaps the difference is the effect (look) it gives off when done in the different clients.

I just keep reminding myself that they didn't have to do anything like giving us gifts or even say a Happy 10th Anniversary to their members ... (does notice Dev's and Community Rep didn't post on UOForums to wish us a Happy 10th but did elsewhere)

What I think would have been wonderful to receive as a 'thank you for supporting us' for 10 years ... To have had them fix at least 10 of the outstanding bugs ... I'm sure there are at least 10 bug fiixes that we have heard 'will be fixed', 'is being fixed', for the last 10 years...


Bottom line .. I thank them for giving me a 'token' of their appreciation that I have supported them .... gifts are just that .. gifts.
