Actually, I believe Adrianna to be more accurate. Even if you set your skill to unlearn it, the points are not ever subtracted from that skill until your skill cap has been reached. Please correct me if I am wrong, but that is what I have always experienced.

you are correct Mathena and apologes to Adri as I worded my post wrong....what I meant was you dont have to wait til 700 total skill points before switching that skill down and working something else

I'm glad to hear that UO is gaining points with you. I have played UO for about 8 years now.... I truely enjoy it and can't see myself playing any other games for the simple reason that NO other game on the market right now has the shear customization and ability to shape your world around you like UO does. The ability to really put your imagination into the game and make it sort of your own... In the right community you can create a true "character" and really get into the role... which to me is more fun that the hunting/gathering, or simple PK life... as to build a true character and really put yourself into the role is more like an escape and a true fantasy roleplay than any leveling game could ever be.
