Have a few questions about coming back

I played UO about 9 years ago, i quit just after Lord Blackthornes (sp) expantion came out. I would like to play again, but i want to find a server that is Lord Blackthorn expansion or before. Do they have a shard for this? Im old and you cant teach an old dog new tricks. I really miss the old UO.

I miss the sound of my silver broadsword hitting a lich. I even miss crafting a full suit of valorite platemail, stepping out of my house and getting PK'd (bye b ye suit).

Also can i download the game or do i have to buy the retail box which includes all 30 expansions?

You can download the game from various sources

There's no official "old" shard, unfortunatly, you'd have to play on a free shard to get pre aos/lbr/etc

We don't support or allow advertising for free shards here, so do a search on google for UO free shards

A lot has happened since you last played, heh

The closest official shard to get on may be siege, but it is still going to be tons different than what you remember.
