Has anyone else lose christmas trees?

I noticed today that the 3 christmas trees i had placed early Dec was now missing. Has anyone else have this happen to them today or in the past day or so? I have about 8 more tree deeds to replace the missing trees so im not worried in that aspect. But I do not want to replace the missing trees if the new ones will disappear too.

I am on Atlantic shard if this is any help

Re: Has anyone else lose christmas trees?

Did you redesign your home (customize it) after placing the trees?
If so, check the moving crate because that is where they pop into when you customize ... hope that helps

Did you lock them down after placing cause I believe anyone can ax them if your house is public

Wow we better test that one .... I know that only the person placing them can redeed them by double clicking. ... runs off to test our gazillion trees!

*note* ... just tried it with a non friended and a friended character to one of our homes with trees set up and they neither could take them down with an axe/hatchet or by double clicking on them for redeeding. So I don't think that is happening (phew ... really hope not!!) As for locking down trees, really no need to do that unless you are trying to lower an ornament otherwise it is auto safe like rugs, spinning wheels, etc.

Well if that was the case, then the reigndeer, sleigh, snowman, boxes, and all the other things I have in the house would have been moved into a moving crate as well and not just the 3 trees.

Re: Has anyone else lose christmas trees?

Well they did seem to get put in the moving crate along with the wreaths and pentagram but nothing else was touched.

Re: Has anyone else lose christmas trees?

Aye one of the neatest 'fixes' the programmers did when they came out with being able to customize our homes was having it so that not EVERYTHING would pop into the moving crate. At first EVERYTHING went into crate and oh my ..... that was a mess. But YAY they fixed it

Also depending on your deedable items some will and some won't pop into crate. Like a spinning wheel doesn't but a polar bear trophy more than likely will (depending on your placement wall) or if your putting a new wall over the tile that an item is locked down on .. that too will go into moving crate.

Glad you found your trees!!!! Happy Holidays

Re: Has anyone else lose christmas trees?

I haven't lost a Christmas tree, but I did notice something weird when I remodeled my house. The items on the front steps all went to the moveing crate except one a Black Latern, which had been on the steps. The Latern actually disapeared and I never sow it again. So something similar might have happened with your tree.

Yes, what Queen Mum said.. really great that now EVERYthing doesn't end up in the moving crate when you remodel one little thing. I notice that for the most part the only things that hit the crate any more are ones which are directly affected by the remodel, and almost always things like mistletoe and soulstones.

If anyone would like their x-mas trees back, Dip and I will be happy to negotiate a finders fee.
