Halp! Patches Don't Match!

Okies, I had to reinstall UO cause my computer went to the compdoc again and got some transplants.

The problem is that I got ML installed, and on the front page when it patches, it tells me I have version 6.0.1.3 which I believe is the right one. When I open the game itself to the log in screen it tells me my version is 6.0.0.0.

It won't finish patching alone, and I have no clue what to do about it. Any suggestions?

Can a patch be uninstaleld then re-installed if it could that might work

Try going into your account maneagement screen and re-entering your key #.

Nope, can't log in at all. It tells me I have the wrong patch.

My key # is right in the manage account thing. Thank heavens, because I don't think I would have the first clue about what I did with all that.

I don't know how to uninstall a patch, without uninstalling the entire game and letting it patch thru and everything. *sigh*

Don't know anything about techie stuff Adri, just wanted to check if you've done any of these (always included in the patch notes)

If patched correctly, your current version will display 6.0.1.3.. If you have any difficulty receiving this patch, please check the following:

Check the "Patch" directory within your Ultima Online directory (the default location is C:\Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online\Patch).

This directory should be empty. Any files in this directory should be deleted.

Run a virus scan on your computer. Undetected viruses may cause conflicts with patching Ultima Online. For information on up-to-date virus detection software, please visit http://www.mcafee.com

If after trying the above, you are still experiencing difficulty patching the Ultima Online client, please visit this web page.

Hm, I tried the web page and it's down. I'll try it again later.

The patch folder is empty, as it should be.
I have a new virus detector, and when it was in the shop, the computer got a virus-bath from the compdoc, so it is clean and squeaky. He also set the anti-virus to the optimal settings to be able to play MMORPGs.

So, I am kinda lost.

According to that, my option is to scan and defrag, then reinstall. Blah lol.
