Well guys.

My mom finally decided to come and check out the new expansion. She stopped playing for a few months due to having a boyfriend and getting a new job and stuff.

So tonight.....I will be taking my mom on the grand tour of the ML expansion.

I said the followign to her :

1) get into ts with me because ill be dammed if i try to type out everything to explain to her

2) make sure you have a ton of insurance because I can gurantee you we are going to die over and over and over...lol

I have been writing down everything I need to show her and I realize that Its gonna take me FOREVER to show her everything and explain everything to her...lol....this should be interesting...lol!!!!!!!

Good luck!! I wish stratics would just get the new information up. Its really hard to figure things out and instead of trying to explain things to people who refuse to figure things out themselves I would rather send them a link.

I dont mind helping out people, but when you explain and explain and they refuse to get it...it gets annoying.

I do not mind helping folk out, but I hate when they get mad when I cannot help them out as much as would satisfy them. I could not begin to count how many times I have walked folk through the elf to human quest, and the human to elf quest.

Epona, I found the best way to give someone a tour of dungons and points of interest were to get some of the entry quests done and tour them as a ghost. Using teamspeak is a great idea, but when you are alive and by instict trying to stay that way you often miss things. Like I go on a different server with a friend and walked them through the laberanth, only way I would want to go to the end at this time so I could show them the 'artifacts' on the ground. Even on test shard it can be fun to show people around just so they can see what they will be dealing with. When I took my friend to the laberanth, I told her there is a paragonish critter named a rend and that if this creature was at the door, dont expect even a second of seeing that place in colour. Low and behold, I thought I walked through the door first, but before I got into it, I saw the 'i was killed by Rend' message for my escort. "I told you so" SOO aplied there Anyways, how did the tours go?

THey went well....she liked the painted caves so we stayed there for most...she said it was too much to take in for one trip so we stayed there so she could farm some arties...lol
