 | Got KR working but.... Damn computer restarts everytime I log in, can someone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it?   |

 | Re: Got KR working but.... You got an AMD CPU? If so then its the onrush of heat build up. AMD chips are known for rebooting as soon as their preceived heat levels go too high for them. | Re: Got KR working but.... Ah, then I'm going to go with its the AMD CPU over heating as it's launching the KR client. It taxes it quickly during start up, thus reboots/shutsdown the system. Sorta like Harley's when they over heat, they just shut off. You can pull the cover, check the CPU fan and the rest inside and clear out any dust and what nots. MinSpecs for KR are a 1 Gig CPU, but that don't mean that with extra stuff your running isn't over taxing the CPU a bit. You've got the horsepower, but maybe with the other stuff running, its taxing it just a wee bit too much. Give the internals a look and see if it needs a good dusting. Try leaving the cover off and see if that stops from the rebooting (more air flow). Lord F'Nor Emissary to Avalon the MoA Give them a Visit Quote:
