Re: gonna ask here...
There's a good guide on UO.com about the stages of decay
http://guide.uo.com/house_6.html Housing State Approximate Duration Like New 1 hour Slightly Worn 1-2 days Somewhat Worn 1-2 days Fairly Worn 1-2 days Greatly Worn 1-2 days In Danger of Collapsing 12-24 hours

Re: gonna ask here...
This is from the Stratics Homes & Castles forum:
2. What are the different stages of house decay and how long does each last? Like New Slightly Worn Somewhat Worn Fairly Worn Greatly Worn In Danger of Collapsing Demolition Pending -Each stage last about 24 hours, except for Like New (about 50 minutes) and In Danger of Collapsing (just under 8 hours). -If a house that has entered its last stage of decay has rented vendors working out of it, the house will not fall until the vendor’s rental contracts have expired. At that time, another timer begins running to give the vendor owners time to collect the items and gold from the vendors. Once these waiting periods have passed, the house will begin to decay normally. http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/u...b=5&o=&fpart=1

Re: gonna ask here...
I Think its 12-24 hours from the moment it goes IDOC. Could be more like 8-16 though.
From my short time camping them it seemed that the majority of them would drop from the hours of about 10am-2pm EST. This was on Catskills shard... |

Re: gonna ask here...
ok... thanks for the heads up. I heard that the info on uo.com was outdated. And someone else told me 7 hours.
Stratics says over 18 hours, but I was camping a house 2 days ago and it fell at around 12 hours or less because when I logged back in.. it was down. Im thinking 7-8 hours. Guess Ill find out. |

Re: gonna ask here...
Level 1 paragon chests can be opened by a GM mage using the unlock spell. Level 1 chests drop from Trolls, Earth Elementals, Ettins, Greater Mongbats, Gazers, Enslaved Gargoyles. Ore Elementals, too, I think.

Re: gonna ask here...
Hmm.. well these were chests that were stacked in a house from efreets, drakes, cyclopian warriors... I dont have a gm lockpicking skill. I tried hacking it up with an axe, but that doesn't work. Wish there were service contracts available for that...
