![]() | Re: Golem Training: The Lowdown Edited the first post to add some of the tips people have left. I got the golem to stop attacking me.. but i gain very very very slow. I shot it for 10 minutes and didnt gain a single .1. not sure if this is working as intended, or if maybe im still screwing something up. ![]() Lord Big Sexy - Sexy Smiff Lord Little Sexy - Evil Alchy <=& Children of Ivy and Bellas> ----------- |

![]() | Re: Golem Training: The Lowdown Nope, it's working. Faster weapons will allow you to gain faster. With a max swing (or shoot) rate of 1.25 secs per swing (maybe a 100% repeater with 30% SSI and over 80 dex), you should gain at an average .1 per 6 minutes. That is an average, not a definitive. I've trained weapon skills from 70 to 120 8 different times. Usually up to about 110, I gain a total of 10 points per 10 hours. That's 1 point per hour, or about .1 every six minutes. Sometimes I'll go 30 minutes without getting a gain, and other times I'll swing twice and get two gains in a row. It's all random. Once you hit 110, it'll be about .6 an hour, or a .1 every 10 minutes. Above 117 or so, it'll slow down to about .1 every 15 minutes, or 2.5 hours per whole point. That help? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Golem Training: The Lowdown The lower your initial skill, the harder it will be to get gains as well. Try these tricks: 1) use hit lower defense (let you hit more) on the weapon (if you can) 2) once at 80 real skill, equip HCI jewelry to let you hit more, thus gain more. Are you a human? If so, you can use Animal Lore on the golem to check it's current wrestling skill. If it is above your archery skill, then throw on some jewelery to compensate for a bit. ![]() Useful links [UO:F Common FAQ] [UO Stratics] [UO Guide] [Official UO Play Guide] [Search UO] [FindUO.com] [UO Feedback] [More Links, gathered by the Forum] [b][size="3"]Got a Question, or a great answer?
