Gold stolen from bank?

I found it

In my defense i was really really tired, heh. I kept trying 'balance' from outside the bank and it didn't work. Today i tried from inside and it said it was still there. So one by one i moved everything out and there is was in a bag underneath another bag that looked just like it. Thanks again

I'm glad you found it Laura! I was about to ask what shard you were on

I know how hard it was to make money when you start UO. When I quit a few years ago I had like 2 Mil between 12 chars and was amazed, since most players had hundreds of millions, but that was the age of duping, not earning.

Correct - the "balance" query does not include checks in your bank box.

Only remotely related:
A house placement tool can be used to check the balance, including checks, from anywhere.
Simply use it, and go through the steps towards placing a house.
I forget exactly what point it's at, but I have a feeling it's at the bottom left of the gump when you're selecting the type/size of the house. Implemented so that playes can check that they can afford the house they're about to place.
Note: You don't actually need to place a house to use it
