Getting the Beta Client

i didnt' see the code in the email!!! where it be? its asking me for a beta upgrade code, but i didn't get that!! i got an invite with links

As to the account, yes you have to have an account to log in. I do not think that EA is providing accounts for beta testers, only the client.

Even better question, if the sign up required account name, then how was he approved for a beta in the first place?

Gah! I downloaded DAP , it says accelerator on it??? Its the only one I saw? I was able to get the 2nd to download but cant get the 1st to work!

In one of the other download threads downloader programs were mentioned such as Free Download manager. After so many failed attempts, getting at most 70 MB done, I decided to try it out. Now I have 90% on one file and 54% on another, so it's looking good! From what I can tell of the history of this download, seems there are several breaks going on, but the program nicely continues on where it left off and I don't have to blink an eye.

Just wanted to let folks know that you might want to try one of these programs if you're only using the classic way of downloading. I've never had the need for one of these programs previously so this is new to me as well.
