Howdy, it's been YEARS since I played UO and am wondering how I should go about restarting. Should I buy the 8th age disc set, or is there a newer one that includes the full client?

I've lost my origional UO discs, so I will need to get new ones. Just unsure of what ones to get. Thanks in advance for the help!

I think your best bet is to buy the UO client via the uogamecodes website, you can then download the actuall game right away (if you have broadband heh)

I believe you can still get the boxed copy elsewhere, maybe at places like amazon etc.

Checked that site earlier and found that warning. While I have set up an account with EA.com I'm not sure if that qualifies me to purchase from uogamecodes?

So with the free trial copy, I can play for the 15 days then chose to upgrade via the internet? I know you're not really the person who should be answering these questions, but I've a feeling I wouldn't get timely replies from anywhere else. Thanks for the info so far!

With the ML client I get the full client, or just an upgrade to ML? Thats what confuses me. Like, if I went to the store and bought ML would I have all the previous expansions, + the initial game, or just access to an expansion pack and I would have to get the origional game elsewhere?

Personally, i'd play with the 15 day free trial copy of UO Gold, to see if you like the changes that have taken place with UO, then if you like it, buy the upgrade code to get full Mondain's legacy access.

Or you can simply splash out $29.99 by buying Mondain's legacy and hope for the best

Bear in mind, the gold edition won't have all the recent parts, I think it was upto samurai empire edition, so one lower than the current expansion.

The expansion part confuses people because normally you have to own the original, which you don't with this game anymore.

All you need is the ML new player code ($29.99) and the ML client download.
