Grizz, my first 6 months went with a whole lot of nothing.

Then, in 2 trips (think at most did the run twice each time) a couple months ago I got 2 Arti's.

It's all luck, and just 'cause it says 1% doesn't mean do it 100 times and you'll get one, or do it 1000000 times and you have a good chance to. Every time you kill DF it's only a 1% chance (then split that by up to 16 depending on how many people qualify for drops).

Ok I have an update. It seems when me and my guild run the gauntlet with just the three of us one of us gets an artie every 3 times we do it. Just a few days ago we ran the gauntlet and killed the dark fathers three times and at the end of the third one of my mates got a "voice of the fallen king" we decided to do it again and ended up with nothing. But when we came back the next day and did it three rounds earned another guildy a "breath of death". We decided to leave thinking if we came back after the server reset we had a better chance. Well as it ruend out we came back, and did three rounds and I strait freaked out when at the end of the third i got a "Serpent's Fang" Now we've only done this three or so times and we plan to run the gauntlet again but I wanna know if this is a fluke or is it real that three players can run the guantlet three times and get 1 artie and if they come back after the server resets and do it again they get another? In three days we each ran it three times and got 1 artie each.

What is your char? You can usually find me on Countess Aibal, Soarak, or Austin. I have several others, but those are the three I play the most.

I used to go quite a bit. I did it every weekend for like 4 months or so. My buddy got about 7 arties the whole time we went. I have never EVER received 1 single one. Then another time, me and another buddy went with just the 2 of us late at night, he on his tamer, me on my pally. I was poisoned, and had to run away from a shadow knight????(the disappearing ones), and he killed it and got an AOF. At that point, I quit doom and never went again. I was tired of spending soo much time in there. Every time we went, someone in our party, me or him, was wearing the 1400 luck suit. The guy who got the 7 arties, got them EVERYTIME after I had logged out. It was like clockwork, 5 minutes or so afterwards, he got it by sticking it out 1 more round.....

We are probably going to try guantlet again tonight. Im sure since its friday there will be a lot of people there. Im going to see if the odds for getting an artie are better with less people.
