I was visiting the Battlestar Gallactica forums on SCI-FI, and seen their actor appreciation threads and thought.. "Hey! We need one for Gargoyles!" *nods*

So here it is! Gargoyles were promised to us ages ago, we thought we were going to get them with UX.. And now, we hear we shall be getting them with UO:SA! Hip Hip Hoorah!

Lets hear a magnificent round of applause!

I LOVE that we're getting a new race and I can't wait to have a gargoyle! It's so exciting!

I am a bit disappointed that we're not getting dwarves. I really thought that with the blackrock events that we were going to find out that the new race was dwarves and the blackrock was from them tunneling deep into Sosaria and moving the blackrock close to the surface.

Frankly, I would LOVE to play a female dwarf (with beard of course!) and have her be my miner/blacksmith! After all that's what they're known for!

I've never understood the race hating that goes on in UO. I think having a large selection of races in a MMORPG is something that should be REQUIRED not villified! It adds color and character and personalization! Why would anyone be against that?

So I say a rousing HUZZAH to the new Gargoyle race! May they flourish and grow and add more fun and creativity to the game!

I wasn't too excited about playing a gargoyle, but now that I've considered how fun it is to have a Gargoyle Appreciation Thread, maybe I'll try one out!

After all, they were one of the first "big" monsters that I took pride in being able to kill solo, back in the day....
