There are dozens upon dozens of ATI Mobile Radeons. Do you know the model number? Anything of the 9k series or lower has issues with not only KR but all newer gaming engines. 1Xk/2Xk/3Xk and up run KR just fine. Same with nVidia, 7/8/9 series KR runs well... 6/5/4 series are hit and miss at best, and outright choke at worst. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Frustrated with KR client I run KR mostly happily - though I do have an ATI video card and do have occasional crashing, though my issue is complicated by the fact that I'm running on a Mac, and to the best all us Mac people running Windows can figure out, it's a not-quite-standard version of a standard ATI video card. The drivers Apple provided are out of date, and the vanilla drivers from ATI's web site cause crashing - not just in KR, but in general within Windows. (All is fine on the OS X side). I don't have much to add that others haven't already mentioned - driver updates would be the first thing to jump out at me. Good luck!

![]() | Re: Frustrated with KR client Been using KR since I came back. I have a nVidia card, albiet a laptop card. I get crashes too. It seems to be random. Since I live in Japan, I check dragon spaws when I get home from work, and its like clock work that when I go to Valor Jungle, I crash. I can almost time it now! ![]() I think its more the clients problem than any hardware issues. |
