Forgot Password

Thank you everyone for helping me. It scared me huge and I paniced. I know a lot of people have had this happen, we are not alone guys. It's just very upsetting to see a email with your login and password staring you in the face and you didn't request it. Let's hope we are all ok

Lets keep changing our passwords and take all the precautions. Still nervous heheh

It's wise to be cautious, but not wise to be overly paranoid, imo

It's allways a good idea to make sure your password is as cryptic as possible.
No dictionary words, use random case passwords with numbers.
More of a pain to enter, but least it's more secure

Oh! And for gods sake, DON'T put your UO account on a free, webbased email account like Yahoo/Hotmail.

Crosses finger nothing happens

Ok we have received an email for 2 different accts with "Forgot Password Help" as subject.

One arrived at 1:46am and the other at 6:43am (Central Time)

Neither one shows the account names but they do show the passwords.

The addresses attached to these accounts are strictly used for the UO accounts and not listed anywhere else.

The email addresses are not connected to a free or webased email like yahoo/icq/hotmail etc.

Noticed EA will be doing some login, house, vet reward server maintainence this morning. Wonder if this email issue might be somehow related. Nervewracking for sure. Would be a lot happier if EA allowed us to request no passwords of our accounts be sent out without a separate PIN or maybe the upgrade code!

Aye my sister said her friend is freaking out because all three of her accounts recieved password info. We changed our passwords just to be on the safe side too

I believe someone or somebodies have just been sitting on acct management screen punching in acct names and requesting passwords.

Well Adam, unfortunately we have been made to be paranoid with all the things going on out there. Like you said in one of your other posts, you can't trust anyone.
