I think that is dead-on. And I don't think they are going to budge on KR-only access to Stygian Abyss (and likely future expansions). It will become impossible for players NOT to switch to KR, then the team will have the masses on KR and 2D will disappear. It won't happen overnight, but it will happen. Their long term goal is to support ONE client, and restricting access to new expansions is a sure-fire way to force players to convert, IMHO.
