They look like somebody washed them in a washing machine and left them on spin-dry too long and they got stretched and distorted. I have to agree that they are the worst looking thing I have seen in a KR screenie so far!

here is screenshot i found and i agree it looks stupid. sigh again i think very old graphics were the best one if think how they looks. all clothes and animal and monsters really looked like real even they were bad graphic but they fit together.




new graphics im afraid stome chairs are way too big and does those daemons even fly or just walk/run in stupid war mode.

Why don't they just change everything in the KR graphics to the current 2d graphics!!!

Old schoolers will want the 2d look, agreed. Also they need some 'eye candy' to attract new players though. Be honest, purely on graphical content, UO, at present, compared to newer games is behind the times.

I prefer 2d on the whole but there are elements of the current 3d client I like too. Can organise your containers and packs better in 3d, and resize them etc.

Agreed I can't wait to see KR in action on my own monitor though! :cheesy:

I just think it's funny that someone said "...just make those ridiculous KR bear rugs look like our current 2D bear rugs please..." when KR is upgrading everything graphic in the current 2D model. Why would they make ANYTHING look exactly the same? That just makes a graphic upgrade useless.

Well, I can see someone holding onto a few things that they really, really, loved with the 2d client.

As far as the poster who said UOs graphics are behind the times, you are quite right. Many years behind the times...

Maybe Im just not as picky as alot of people about looks but everything I have seen so far has made me quite happy.

i can deal with funky looking bear rugs if the majority of the game looks better in KR.

What interests me the most is that CATHAT actually fixed somethign reported in Beta.

I am rather biased after my UO:TD debacle, so it is refreshing that a dev would actually respond to a Beta input that was not a game crashing issue.
