Swords. I second what Arjuna said above about the dingus ways in which skill gain has been changed.

I think it was med for me, but it could have been fishing, hehe. Still the greatest feeling was when I finally gm'd magery, because I suxxor and could never do the stuff like 8x8, so when I finally hit gm mage in 2001 (after starting in 98) It was just such an amazing moment in my UO career. Course, now that I'm Legendary it just doesn't seem all that grand, oh the golden past of UO...

I'm prolly gonna have to say it was either Magery or Fencing.Waaaaaaay back when.like 99 i think it was.ahh...good times.

Tactics and then Swordsmanship followed shortly, while doing battle with the undead at the City of the Dead. It took me 6 months to GM and it was some of the best 6 months in UO I've ever had.

Lumberjacking... quickly followed by Carpentry to use up some of the boards I'd gathered. And then Bowcraft, because I still had a load of boards left

Apart from focus, those are still the only skills I've GM'd!

Parry playing with Earth Elementals in Despise. Only took two years or so and rairly ever got to play my full powerhour cause at the time I was playing on 28.8 connection when I was lucky. Few months later, GM to fencing tactics anatomy. My first charactor started with poisoning and alchemy. I still havn't finished her poisoning heheh.
