First impressions of 6/27 Patch

First impressions of the 6/27 patch (the first "non-beta" release of the KR client):

- Like the new brightness slider and volume settings
- Like the new gump that indicates what your current target is
- Lots of previously missing sound effects have been added (cu sidhe's now make all of their proper sounds, as do satyrs and other Weald creatures, and I heard some new spell sounds coming from the Swoop area)
- Footsteps kind of annoy me. I can't put my finger on why. They're off beat or something. I sound like I'm hobbled.
- Like the new animation for the spinning target thing. Easier on the eyes, less distracting.
- Like the new art for the character selection gumps.

I only had time to play for a half hour or so. Will update this with any more thoughts I come across when I play more later on.

Liked that too. But I still think the delete button is way too close.

I'm finding a bit of lag in KR....moreso than when I play 2d....

Think I'll stick with 2d for the time being....

The new target ring and target info gump (at top), and the new character selection screen.

Be sure to click the 4-way arrow at the bottom right to see the screenshots at full size (for full clarity).

Still think some of the mounts are out of proportion but the brightness is alot better

. Female elf pic on the health bar is still fugly!

look kitiaras 2nd screenshot. someone could report that characters wear shields wrong. i saw some juka warrior it had proper position for shield but with player characters its way too far away from hand. most shields your arm goes either middle of shield or whole shield is hanging from elbow to hand specially with bigger shields. but if you look most screenshots there is something wrong when player is wearing shield. do you agree?
