NOW for the good news. The one wool before death gives you three balls of yarn. The wool sheared from the dead sheep will only give you one ball per wool. So in the end you get the same amount of yarn. Just less work at the spinning wheel if you sheer before killing the sheep. With UOA dead sheep wool will stack but not with live sheep wool.
