As there will be many MANY questions regarding customising your interface,I have set up some questions Ive seen asked with the answers.

Hopefully this will help explain everything as we go along to those of us who have no idea what this procedure entails.

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and we will I am sure between us sort out the answers.

I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but if I read the patch notes correctly, all we can do is edit the gump artwork? I was really hoping that we would be able to create new windows to import data and variables into.

...........I don't know if this is even possible, or if they are even considering it. But it would be nice.

I think this means that I should make "Default" directory under the "UserInterface". But I think it is wrong. The extraction process doesn't make "Default" directory, and if you make "Default" under "UserInterface", you see two "Default" directories on the pull-down menu of Custom UI. So I think I should leave the "UserInterface" as is.

edited: Sorry, I might be mistaken. It seems that you should make "Default" or so under "UserInterface". Then, what is the original "Default"?

could you take the horizontal stat bar from 2D, and add replace the vertical one in KR? I mean can you just change the background images so far, or can you actually change the layout as well?

Thanks for this help Gildar. I decided to have a go myself as I love the look of this for all my containers.

BUT

I opened your zip folder,and then the Book section and.........*BLINKS*

what the heck do I do with all that coding,*grins* .

Can some clever person please put up an idiots guide for folk like me.
