Nope the way it used to work was 1 charge per reg needed, so if your spell required 4 different regs to cast and you didnt have any on you it took 4 charges....might have changed this almost immediately after they came out as you could deplete an item of its charges pretty quickly!

I'm not disputing that it was not that way once Merth - just that it's so far back I can't remember that being how it worked....

Aye no offense meant just put it out there. I stopped using them other than the cool looking blood red cloak way back when because of this reason. It was way easier to just manage regs. that cloak let me cast that recall more than once when I ran outta a reg or 2 in the middle of some dungeon tho

I DO Know that upon my return, February this year, arcane still used 1 charge per spell level. Heck, when I wrote the origingal article in August, it still worked that way (I double checked in game while writing it).
