I can't remember too many more scenarios than that lol My memory ain't so good des days.

I guess the boring ones came later on, when the scenarios were winding down. Some of the scenarios were left going between patches.....and we know how long that can be sometimes....

Voted for scenarios, though I think we need both. Scenarios in general are superior, they change the world more and since they're long-lasting, everyone can take part in the experience as opposed to having to be there at that exact hour or miss the whole thing.

But, to keep the fiction going forward and to have some pivot points in the plot, events are needed too. I think the optimal situation would be that an event kickstarts a scenario, the scenario lasts and remains even after the actual plot is done, but during the scenario events are held that further the plotline.

So I would've gone for the "both of them!" -option had there been one :grin:

To be honest, I DO agree with that
Maybe they shoud've done the scenarios in places like T2A or Ilshenar where there's no housing.
I remember dying to those acid spitting ants to, very annoying, especially when they had the ability to spit through walls and doors, hehe

As long as it dont have a uber item that brings the most greedy people in the game im in for any kind of role play.

I wish they would do some good stuff though, that would make people get involved perhaps even revamp towns give us a reason to visit cities other then Luna

I voted scenarios,although I DID like the idea of events when I first heard about them .However a few things put me off attending events.
1.The horrendous lag wich makes it virtually impossible to take part.
2.The type of people they attract.
3.The spamming.

I can see the attraction for a certain group of players though, and they are just as entitled as the rest of us to have their needs met.

I would more be in favour of Em events that happened spontaneously,ie an EM sees a group of players somewhere and acts accordingly,creating a spawn of some sort for a short time.

I recall last year there was a planned invasion of towns, wich began in Brittain.
I remember logging onto another shard and as a ghost ran around trinsic looking at the fall out.It was AWESOME.
There were all sorts of creatures ,some of which I had not seen before ,dragons swooping around etc.
Sadly though, it never happened on Europa.We had even started making ooc plans as to how we could roleplay surviving the invasion.

Id like to see more direct ,one off surprise, things

I quite enjoyed the last half of the invasion and the following events in 05 on europa. When the blooguard began forming i found it was a highly enjoyable time. The events through 05 we great when we got an EM who roleplayed both on the serious level (like you folk from vesper & trinisc) and a more casual level (like with the bloodguard folk).

Aswell as that around the time the bloodguard formed, spammers seemed to disapear for a while. They do ocasianaly horde into events but nothing like they used to. You often only see one muppet nowdays standing there spamming *GIVE ME MY SASH1!!!11 OMGZ I WANT IT NOW!!1!!*. Even then they get no attention, and normally no sash :grin:
