Easy Slayer Instruments?

Well, I'm in the process of training my discord up to 120. I'm up to 117.5

.

However, I'm running low on slayer instruments. I went to Ilsh and knocked out about 15 balrons until a paragon showed up and killed me. I, however, didn't get a single instrument.

Does anyone know of any monsters around that regularly drop instruments?
I have a tamer too, so I can kill nearly anything, but I'd prefer something simple where I can rack up 10-15 cheap, crappy instruments.

If you're curious, I'm using slayer instruments on opposite aligned creatures to make gains come easier. It's actually worked extremely well as my gains are coming much faster with these instruments.

Or, if anyone on the Great Lakes shard is willing to part with some ogre, terathan, or whatever slayers that nobody ever wants, I'll take them off your hands

I believe swoops have a fairly consistant drop rate... I think dragons do as well.

Heh... I was just killing drags with an 800 luck suit... Nothing.

Did swoops for a little while, but was using my regular suit. Might try them again.

I get instruments on dragons pretty frequently - maybe 3 an hour, and I'm not wearing a luck suit.

I get lots of instruments from Ogre Lords, for some reason. Even Ettins and Cyclopeans drop their fair share for me.

i get mine from the gas room in doom, orge lords and balrons are other good monsters to fight for em aswell

Theres a chance that wearing a luck suit actually decreases your chance of getting a slayer instrument - they are probably on the low end of loot during calculation and when you get a "luck enhanced" drop it may not give you slayer instruments.

Im wearing somewhere around 340 luck running around dragons for about 20 mintues and saw 2 so far... hope that helps

I just did an hour in Ilshenar killing Cyclopeans, ended up with three instruments.
