easiest class to play

want to know what the easiest class to play is. dont want to much complication on the hotbars.. something to get me going and having fun without being confused

I would have to say a crafter of some sort. I know I'm a bowcrafter who also knows how to shoot the bow extremely well. Also know a few spells from the chivalry book. But this is my choice. You must find your own path. If you come to Chessie, someone will surely help you. I found the same to be true of those on Europa. Welcome!

I find the easiest class to play, that can compete, a paladin aka a chiv dexxer.

Possible basic template:

100 weapon skill
100 tactics
100 chivalry
100 anatomy
100 parrying
100 healing
100 focus

of course this can be tweaked a lot more. Also if even the few chivalry spells are too much hassle for you and you want to go more simple, you could leave out chivalry and focus and take up resisting spells and some other passive skill like lumberjacking or poisoning.

*can some mod please merge these two identical threads? It had me utterly confused and tricked me into posting the same thing twice ;)*

I agree on a dexxer. A swordsman with a template something like Merion gave as an example is versatile, easy to build, and easy to use. They are also nice little gold makers, and can help you earn the gold necessary to develop your next character. Get a decent armor suit, or if you're an elf, a darkwood suit, soulseeker, and away you go to fame and fortune.

Only thing I'd change on Merion's template is get rid of the focus and put on resist instead.

Agreed on the archer template. Keep your distance and whack-a-mole!
