dying runebooks

So, my understanding is that even if I purchased a runebook dyetub, I wouldn't be able to dye my rune book collection because my account is not old enough. Is this correct?

If so, would any kind soul on atlantic be willing to meet up with me and dye my collection all the same color?

Re: dying runebooks

Yep you are correct...you account must be 4 years (48 months) to be able to dye runebooks. You can have them in your inventory and all...just can not dye them.

I have two 16 book sets for treasure hunting which makes 32 total books that I need dyed all one color merely to suit my obsessive compulsive disorder, haha.

Re: dying runebooks

I am sure some one would dye them for you if you asked or you could buy some dyed ones already at a vendor mall, they're usually pretty cheap

I don't have a dyetub on Atl but if you know of a public set, I'd hop on to do it for you.

Better than me... I have mine dyed according to location, fel, tram, malas, or tokuno, city or dungeon... I'm a bit OCD about how I keep my runebooks lol. At least I can gate just about anywhere at a moment's notice tho.

Re: dying runebooks

Somewhat ironic that regardless of age or skill, you can dye clothing items, but you can't dunk a runebook into a tub of dye?
hehe

Re: dying runebooks

I need someone to dye books for me on Atlantic too I don't really like the coloured ones, but I do like the 'undyed' ones - that is the reddish ones with the gold details.

Re: dying runebooks

c'mon guys, the runebook death is no laughing matter. I read somewhere that every year 1 in 5 runebooks die from neglect. Dust them off every once in a while, turn some pages, add some locations, please....
