Dryad Alure??? and Sparing

I am an Elder Spellweaver, I use dryad alure to get an Arctic Ogrelord.. charmed.. (tame) i take him back home.. cage him.. and cast spells at him for gains..

I have another friend, who is 86% for spellweaving.. when he does the same thing.. it says "This might turn you into a criminal" when he trys to cast damaging spells at it.. and does the same to me.. yet .. he can attack mine with no trouple..

why?

PS.. the name plate for mine is green and his is blue...

It's because the flag is green and not blue.
Provoking anything flags you grey to that being. Provoking anything tamed/controlled that highlights blue to yourself flags you grey to the world.
If the two of you were in the same guild/alliance, this could be resolved by instructing both tamed creatures to guard their owners, so that they flag green to their owner (and anyone allied), and then commence with the provoking action.

Not provocation as the bardic skill per se, but the attacking/casting.
