Found this to be both insightful and intresting to read ... Draconi’s Blog Methods to the Madness

His "Ultima in Ultima Online" post is an extremely interesting read. Though as much as I agree with his sentiments in this matter, my concern is the lack of a more unified system that governs the game mechanics (or rather, that which is apparent to me, the player) which would make introducing a more defined theme more difficult, or cause it to be less coherent, and ultimately not fulfilling the true potential of open-endedness and community that are the hallmarks of this game.

I didn't know Draconi even *had* a blog. Thanks for posting this.
