I see, well I understand, but not much I can do about any of that item stuff...

I just liked it because it took some co-operation and time to comlete the gauntlet, wasnt just kill loot kill loot kill loot over and over, before ML it was the only area that I could not solo PvM.

And to be honest, it looks like a better battle now, with the necromancy the is more challenge to it. Have to run for your life everynow and then... hehe

People are still stealing everything in that place, except the books...the books are always around.

But it sure doesnt look like anyones ever in there...

Well I don't have a warrior, been to Doom four times [twice with OTE when it first came out, got killed so many times that I quit going there, when I became a reporter PAS was doing a Doom run and I went to report on it and had a blast when I was showed that Doom can be done, the last time I was there was on my tamer, I had fun and even got a mace weapon for helping to kill a DF, but gave that away to a macer and I wanted the shadow leggings for my t-hunter.

Never been to Doom on a production shard before. Perhaps once my paladin is fully trained up I'll join ya for a stroll through that dungeon. Got a tamer/mage that I could take as well, but to be honest, I really suck at controlling pets.

I spent quite a bit of time in Doom when I was on Europa. Not one single arty, and loads of gold lost on insurance. After a while, I figured aaah, screw it! With the money I spent on insurance, I probably coulda just bought whatever arty I wanted!

Haven't been on Lake Austin yet... gonna finish training up my Pally/Archer and then I'll go back. I've got just the bow... my Earth Ele/Daemon slayer is waiting!

Well I was actually talking about the dark Father Gauntlet you access from the Doom dungeon.

But yes everytime I was training in the Doom dungeon area, people were always surprised to see someone there killing monsters, always seemed pretty dead except for the bone hunters and the occasional running thief.

Well I dont want to force ya to PvM spider :shocked: But if you do feel like it lemme know, and btw the gauntlet is one of the better spots to train fighters. :grin:

Yes I know what you mean about pets... I have two dang tamers on my accounts and I pretty much hate em. The lack of control really bugs me at times hehhe so I have just converted mine to gold farming peace/tamers/.

Beware using that bow on the new DF, if you hit for 120+ damage, the Necro spell Blood Oath, can kill you dead on one hit... You have to use standard slayers with no Pally EOO... It is not the same fight as you remember.

My fighter hit the DF for 60 damage (no EOO) and the blood oath reflect was 45-50 damage. Much more and it gets dicey. Sounds worse than it is though as all you have to do is not hit for huge Paladin Damage.

Yeah it can be a long time btween artifacts, but with the new style of DF there will be no more scripters sitting on the gate taking artys from you, right now the gauntlet is so dead on my shard the artys will almost have to drop for you.

Adon and I used to do the Dark Fathers alone, we haven't tried since the necromancy changes, I was too scared after a lich lord destroyed my treasure hunter.

Meh.. my problem is that I trained the tamer without ever actually going into a dungeon... used to do Tamer's Night Out to help new tamers learn to control their pets in dungeons.. I spent all my time handing out bandages and pet food though and never got to participate or learn myself. And my current pets, a unicorn and two fire steeds were gifts.. *laugh*
