Doom dead on all shards?

Hello,

Is doom dead, (empty) on your shard too?

I had been going to Doom, to see how tough the new Necro DF was, and found out it wasnt too too bad. A different battle now with the blood oath. (ie you need to run away now) But wasnt too bad, I did not die once, even though I was alone.

So I posted on the shard forums, here, and on stratics, looking for some help to kill the DF. I even explained that it wasnt insta death as the rumors state.

I got one response about how hard Doom is now, and one response about how Doom ruined UO... Not one peep willing to give it a go... I know some people have all the artys and no reason to do doom but.... nobody?

Just wondering if this is the way it is on all shards?

I will happily admit that i have never stepped foot in side of Doom... but my guess is that everyone is doing ML things.. trying to collect the Arties adn Marties from that new thing...

Hmm seems alot of anti doom sentiment.... Whats the deal with that? Just curious.

Im actually going down there tomorrow. Havent been there in quite some time (maybe a year or so) and since no bodys gonna be around there, Im going to check out a good place to train pets and try to find a few stealables.

I stole my very first artifact today! I was strolling around Fan Dancer Dojo and saw ione of the Lev 3 Fans...got it on the second try! I was pretty psyched. :icon_chee

We went down doom once to see how it was and we only saw one guy fighting the df. He was doing pretty good too.

I trained alot of characters on them "devourer of souls" demons.

I don't like Doom because of what came with it's creation...Artifacts. Completely ruined everything by turning UO into an item based game. Bah

I see, well I understand, but not much I can do about any of that item stuff...

I just liked it because it took some co-operation and time to comlete the gauntlet, wasnt just kill loot kill loot kill loot over and over, before ML it was the only area that I could not solo PvM.

And to be honest, it looks like a better battle now, with the necromancy the is more challenge to it. Have to run for your life everynow and then... hehe

People are still stealing everything in that place, except the books...the books are always around.

But it sure doesnt look like anyones ever in there...

Nor have I figured out how to be gracefully passionate without appearing arrogant. In the end, I always seem to be arrogant and weak instead of humbly passionate.
