Do DOOM arties still drop on monsters?

I went on a guild hunt to DOOM for the first time and I got NOTHING. I don't know how it works but I figured with all the monsters we killed, I would have gotten something.

Do the arties appear in your pack like PS's do or do you have to pick em up from the corpse? I am interested in getting some, but it seemed impossible with everyone looting every corpse and stuff.

They will fall into your pack, so there is no need to look for it on the corpse. Dont feel bad about not getting one. There are people who have gone for YEARS and havent gotten one. There was a time when I went for like 3 months straight. Kept my tamer logged out there, ran the gauntlet like 3 or 4 times a week and never got 1 single one. But the guy I ran with got about 7 or 8 during this stretch. And I may mention, he got them everytime I logged out, like 5 min afterwards. Some people swear by the luck system, and go with extremely high luck suits, some people dont wear luck at all and get em. I think it is completely random and a broken system.

Oh, now I know.

It still sucks not being able to get them often.

Yah, but there are those that get them way tooo often too. I know a guild on Baja that lives in there, and hordes them big time. They are a taming guild, and spends almost their entire game-time in doom. I could not take that constant mundane task of running that agonizing gauntlet everyday!!

I just buy them when I need them. It's much easier that way. I have the gold to do it, so why not.

Tamers seem pretty great, can a tamer solo the gauntlet? or no way in hell?

Yah its possible, but you have to watch out for the DF's withers as it can get difficult to heal the pet. So you're gonna have to use alot of magery healing to keep him alive. I have always had a problem in room 5 with a tamer tho, cause its also hard to get close to keep em alive. I found to do a much better job in there with my swordsman. But that was before the blood oath was implimented too.

I wanted to clarify (in case you didn't know) that the only monsters in doom that drop them are those in the gaunt. I've ran into people who thought it was anything in doom, like the devourers and the like.

Could you imagine if that was true?

That would be awesome if it worked that way.. I personally wish the Inquisiters were easier to get tho. There are people who have it clocked out and run a monopoly on attaining them..

What do you mean by clocked out?
